31 Reasons to Love Scentsy Wax Melts

If you are a fan of scented products and fragranced rooms then this is the blog post for you.

If you’re a migraine sufferer then you need to check out this blog.

I am a huge fan of Scentsy Wax Melts and this post contains some affiliate links.

Introduction

As you probably know I am a chronic migraine sufferer and smells can be a triggers for me.

It is a shame because I used to be a lover of incense, oils, diffusers, plugins and scented candles.
Unfortunately, all of the had to stop once these migraines took over.

Over the years I have been able to find the odd scented product that hasn’t a trigger but they were usually limited to mild faint smells that disappeared within 2 hours.

Spicy, cherry, woody, citrus and vanilla based scents seemed to be the worst and to be honest there wasn’t many scents that were outside of those categories.

Eventually I realised I had collection of pointless oil burners and fancy candles becoming just ornaments, I gave up on my mission for scented products for my home.

How I Discovered Scentsys Wax Melts

One day after a ‘4 day migraine,’ my friend popped round and gave me a pamper box as a gift and wow.

Amongst the face mask, foot masks, plant based nail varnish, mug, note book with pen and fluffy slippers was a wax warmer and some wax melts.

To be totally honest with you, I had heard of wax melts but after my many failed missions I had kind of given up – clearly I gave up too soon because these Scentsy wax melts smelt heavenly and most importantly the majority of the ones in the pamper box did not give me a migraine.

Who Is Scentsy?

Scentsy is an online company that sell gorgeously Scented Candles, Wax Melts, Room Sprays and of course stunning Wax Warmers. Guess what? They even sell Diffusers, Oils, Fans, Purifiers and get this they sell Skincare, Pet and Household Cleaning Products.

You need to check them out because their collection of Wax Warmers is just wow, they have styles for everyone. Not only will I be wrapping up some of their gorgeous items as Christmas gifts for my family and friends but I’ll be adding a few of these to my Christmas gift list.

Why I love Scentsy Wax Melts

I could go on all day about all their amazing variety of wax warmers but this blog post is about Scentsy wax melts, the ones that surprisingly didn’t give me a migraine and my favourites.
Before I start I just want say that that everyone is different and what didn’t trigger a migraine might not be the same for you.
Having said that I am a chronic migraine sufferer and even the smell of a cup of coffee can give me a migraine. Scentsy sensational wax melts smell just how you’d imagine after reading the name.
Not only do they create an atmospheric fragrance throughout, it’s an airy aroma that doesn’t leave your space feeling stuffy and the air heavy.
They come in a pack which contains 8 cubes and each cube lasts two and a half days (in my opinion).

The Scentsy has 7 categories for their scented wax melts: Fruity, Citrus, Floral, Woods, Spice, Bakery and Fresh.

There are so many scents to choose from and the list is ever growing and don’t get me started on the exclusives.

Here are just a few…

I am the same, there are some smells that can have me in bed, in a dark room with a raging headache/migraine but I have to admit the ones I have mentioned as being migraine friendly were okay (for me).

I personally was never a candle and wax melts person. And my smelling is sensitive so I don’t do fragrances either. But this is a really nice post visually done, and the details explained are very precise and spot on and has your personal touch. Xx

I use to love Scentsy and had multiple products by them – a couple years ago when my migraines got really bad I could no longer use them because the scents made me unwell. I did adore them and miss those fun scents!

I love wax melts, it became an easier & cheaper way to fragrance our house, as I was spending a lot of money on jar candles at the Yankee shop near work!

I will check these out, thank you for the suggestions
