Tired of your wardrobe? Bored with your look? In need of a fashion makeover? Unsure what key fashion pieces to invest in? Stress no more, Basic with Life has discovered the answer to some of our problems. The discovery is Thread Online
Thread is a fashion (& more) platform that showcases an impressive range of brands, styles and designers but that is just the beginning of what this banging site offers. Thread Online have a personal stylist, a handy layout with a section which stores your purchases to assist with future handy ‘current wardrobe’ outfit suggestions.
What To Expect
Once you arrive on the site you’ll be directed to a survey, now this isn’t some basic survey with fruit shape images for you to identify yourself, this is a questionnaire and it is pretty thorough but that makes it productive.
Height, body measurements, hair colour, skin tone, leg shape, arm length etc. Get the tape measure out and complete it. It is worth doing, you’ll only have to do it once and it’s these answers that will provide you with the best results.
What happened next…
Within minutes I received an introduction email from my personal stylist Isabelle. This intro included ‘How it works’ info, my first set of recommendations with the opportunity to like/dislike and a generous £15 credit to account for any purchase over £50 within the next 3 days.
What My Stylist Said
Stylist Isabelle recommended several outfits, I must admit I liked the majority of them some of the prices were way out of my price range however I was given the opportunity to tick the ‘too expensive’ box and so I’m assuming that the algorithm software will figure out my ideal price range soon enough.
Isabella also recommended colours to compliment my skin colour /tone, as well as my eye and hair colours.
I’m a great fan of Zara so based on this Isabella was able to recommend similar brands. I was introduced to several new brands that I have already fallen in love with, Never Fully Dressed and Damsel in a Dress being just two of them.
And just to top it off I was given some vital fashion tips for small busts, thicker thighs etc.
All in all, as a first email I was so impressed.
My Favourite Recommendations
My Shopping Experience
From Abigail Ahern to Zimmerman with Aldo, Alexander McQueen, Armani, Boden, Stella McCartney, Chi Chi, Crew Clothing, Fenty, Levi’s, Vero Moda and so much more in between.
The brands go on and on but here are a few of my personal favourites that may get your eye twitching.
It is also worth knowing that Thread.com also have a dream-worthy product range of Fragrances & Beauty, Homeware and Gifts.

I love this feature, I find it so annoying when I get a recommendation newsletter and the contents are way above my finances. Plays with my emotions lol.

I must admit the quiz threw me at first but I am so glad that I stuck to it. Now I only get realistic recommendations. Saves so much time.
